Desert Winds Landscape LLC Policies
1. General Policy
Desert Winds Landscape LLC is committed to providing high-quality, reliable landscaping services. All scheduled services will be performed as outlined in the service contract or work order. Clear communication between the client and our team is essential to ensure consistent and professional results.
2. Scheduling & Services
Services are scheduled according to the agreed frequency (e.g., weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or one-time). Clients are asked to ensure gates are unlocked and pets are secured before service. If access is not available, service may be skipped, and the regular service fee may still apply. Weather delays may occur. If a scheduled service is affected by rain or other conditions, it will be rescheduled to the next available date. Additional or special projects (e.g., rock installation, planting, irrigation upgrades) will be quoted separately and require client approval before work begins.
3. Payment Policy
Invoices are issued upon completion of service (or monthly for recurring clients). Payment is due upon receipt unless otherwise stated in the service agreement. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, Zelle, or other methods as communicated. Late payments may incur a fee of $25 or 10% of the invoice amount, whichever is greater. Repeated non-payment may result in suspension or termination of service.
4. Cancellations & Changes
Changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. Clients receiving recurring services (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) may cancel their maintenance plan at any time after 30 days from the start of service.
5. Liability & Property
Desert Winds Landscape LLC is not responsible for damage caused by extreme weather, natural disasters, or acts of God. We are not liable for damage to items left in the yard (e.g., toys, hoses, decorations, furniture). Clients must notify us of any underground utilities, irrigation lines, or special conditions prior to service. While we take care during routine mowing or trimming, minor damage to irrigation heads or lines may occur; issues will be addressed case-by-case.
6. Window Liability
In the event that a rock or debris accidentally breaks a window during routine maintenance, Desert Winds Landscape LLC will offer a maximum reimbursement of $100 per incident. Clients are responsible for any remaining repair or replacement costs. Desert Winds Landscape LLC is fully insured and operates to professional standards
7. Planting Policy
All plants and trees purchased and installed by Desert Winds Landscape LLC include a
3-month limited warranty. This warranty applies only to plants or trees purchased directly from Desert Winds Landscape LLC. If a warranted plant or tree dies within the 3-month period, it will be replaced at no cost for the plant or tree itself; however, a planting fee will apply to cover labor and installation. plants or trees not purchased through Desert Winds Landscape LLC are not covered under any warranty, and replacements will be billed at full cost, including materials and labor.
The warranty does not cover:
• Damage due to neglect, improper watering, pests, or extreme weather
• Transplant shock, soil conditions, or irrigation system issues beyond our control
• Seasonal dieback or dormancy (plants naturally entering a rest phase)
8. Client Communication
Clients can contact us via phone, text, or email for questions or service requests. We encourage prompt reporting of concerns so they can be addressed efficiently. Any service issues must be reported within 48 hours of service completion to be eligible for correction.
9. Agreement
By receiving services from Desert Winds Landscape LLC, the client agrees to the terms outlined in this policy.
